This paper introduces a novel two-parameter G-family of distributions derived through a mixing approach, where a mixture of the exponentiated G-family with parameter follows gamma distribution. Within this new family, we focus on the mixture of gamma-exponentiated exponential distribution (MGExED) as a key sub-model. The study thoroughly investigates by determining some of the MGExED statistical properties, such as quantile function, moments, and order statistics.

Introduction: Self-medication (SM) with non-opioid analgesics (NOAs) has become increasingly prevalent, with individuals using over-the-counter medications to manage pain and other symptoms without professional guidance. While NOAs are generally considered safe when used appropriately, misuse or overuse can lead to adverse effects, including gastrointestinal issues, liver damage, and renal problems.
Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge, awareness, and attitudes regarding NOAs and their SM practices, including how these factors vary by demographic characteristics.
Objectives: To estimate the prevalence of hyperlipidemia in patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and to investigate the relationship between PsA and hyperlipidemia.
Methods: This retrospective study examined medical records of PsA patients from January 2010 to May 2023 at 2 medical centers in Riyadh. Patients over 18 years old with a lipid profile were included.
This paper examines the influence of the new 15 % Value Added Tax (VAT) enforcement on non-financial listed companies in Saudi Arabia. By comparing financial data from 2019, before the VAT implementation and the COVID-19 pandemic, with data from 2020, during both the VAT increase and the pandemic, the research aims to uncover the consequences of this tax policy change. Utilizing charts, tables, and an event study analysis approach with the Autoregressive Moving Average (ARMA) model, we investigated key financial indicators such as Shareholders' Equity (SE), Total Income (TI), Total Revenues (TR), Net Income (NI), Total Expenses (TE), Other Changes in Operating Activity (COA), and Cash at the End of the Period (CEP).

When a child presents with toe walking beyond three years of age, a thorough evaluation is crucial. We report a case of a seven-year-old female presented with painless toe walking that started two years prior to presentation.

The tyrosinase inhibitory capacity of five flavonoids from was investigated through a comprehensive integration of and methodologies. Molecular docking simulations demonstrated the proficient binding of the isolated compounds to the principal binding site of tyrosinase, akin to the standard tyrosinase inhibitor kojic acid.

While recent studies have indicated the potential effect of vitamin D on allergic and inflammatory diseases, including CRSwNP. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the relationship between serum vitamin D levels and the severity of CRSwNP using endoscopic evaluations, imaging, patient-reported outcome measures, absolute eosinophilic count, and serum vitamin D levels and determine the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency in patients with CRSwNP.

To investigate physiochemical characteristics, FT-IR, UV visible spectroscopy, SEM, and XRD were used. The ZnO hexagonal phase and the NiO cubic phase in the ZnO/NiO NCs were verified by the diffraction pattern.

Cd can cause structural changes in the testes and exposure to this heavy metal is associated with the loss of sperms and male infertility. The role of oxidative stress and inflammation in Cd toxicity has been acknowledged.

By using Density Functional Theory (DFT) based molecular modeling, seven new structures are designed with pi spacer to extend electron donor moieties. Teheir Frontier Molecular Orbital (FMO) analysis demonstartes their charges with a similar pattern of distributions over their Highest Occupied and Lowed Unocuupied Molecular Orbitals (HOMO/lUMO).
