Intrapulmonary miliary metastasis is a rare presentation of adenocarcinoma of the lung, characterized by the dissemination of cancer cells throughout the lung parenchyma in different patterns. This case report highlights an unusual presentation of adenocarcinoma of the lung with intrapulmonary miliary metastasis, emphasizing the diagnostic challenges and management considerations. Here, we report a case of a 51-year-old female who presented to the emergency department (ED) with a 2-month history of dry cough, which started after a flu illness and was associated with mild shortness of breath, left-sided chest pain, and miliary nodules on chest imaging.

Chitosan (CS), a by -product of chitin deacetylation can be useful in a broad range of purposes, to mention agriculture, pharmaceuticals, material science, food and nutrition, biotechnology and of recent, in gene therapy. Chitosan is a highly desired biomolecule due to the existence of many sensitive functional groups inside the molecule and also because of its net cationicity. The latter provides flexibility for creating a wide range of derivatives for particular end users across various industries.

Numerous applications have been the subject of in-depth investigation due to its non-hazardous, biologically compatible, and biodegradable qualities. Chitosan's characteristics, such as mucoadhesion, improved permeability, controlled release of drugs, in situ gelation process, and antibacterial activity, depend on its amino (-NH) and hydroxyl groups (-OH).

Methods: Plant powder was extracted by reflex apparatus, then thin-layer chromatography (TLC) was used to determine total flavonoids. Cytotoxicity assay (MTT) was used to determine the cytotoxic activity of the prepared plant against human breast cancer (MCF-7), cells human cervix cancer (HELA), human colon cancer (Caco-2) and human lung fibroblast normal cell line (WISH).
Objective: To measure the reliability and reproducibility of a chest radiograph severity score (CSS) in prognosticating patient's severity of disease and outcomes at the time of disease presentation in the emergency department (ED) with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively studied 1275 consecutive RT-PCR confirmed COVID-19 adult patients presenting to ED from March 2020 through June 2020. Chest radiograph severity score was assessed for each patient by two blinded radiologists.
A family of mono- and ditopic hydroxamic acids has been employed in the synthesis and structural and physical characterisation of discrete (0D) and (1- and 2-D) extended network coordination complexes. Examples of the latter include the 1-D coordination polymer {[Zn(ii)(LH)]·2MeOH} (5; LH = 2-(methylamino)phenylhydroxamic acid) and the 2-D extended network {[Cu(ii)(LH)(HO)(NO)]·HO} (5; LH = 4-amino-2-(acetoxy)phenylhydroxamic acid). The 12-MC-4 metallacrown [Cu(ii)(LH)(MeOH)(NO)]·3HO·4MeOH (7) represents the first metal complex constructed using the novel ligand N-hydroxy-2-[(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)amino]benzamide (LH).
