Background: Trifecta™ is an externally wrapped bovine pericardial aortic valve with a favorable hemodynamic performance and acceptable rate of freedom from structural valve degeneration. However, recent reports of early Trifecta valve failure question its durability. Rheumatic valve disease in young population is predominant, there is no data on the Trifecta performance, durability or safety available worldwide over the middle age population, as well as there are no previous similar reports from Middle East region.

A total of 150 buffaloes were subjected for blood sampling, skin lesions and ticks. All the collected samples; 150 blood, 13 skin lesions, and 29 tick samples, were examined molecularly using the conventional and real-time PCR assays.

As the clinical and epidemiological features of COVID-19 share many similarities with other respiratory viruses in children, ensuring optimal management of different viral respiratory diseases is critical. The precautions taken to prevent COVID-19 have seemingly had an indirect effect on the seasonal variations of viral diseases and the frequency of relevant viruses.

Objectives: Assess the rate of subsequent infection and immunogenicity of a single dose of ChAdOx1 vaccine at 16 weeks post-vaccination in a sample of healthy and young participants.
Design: Cross-sectional study SETTING: Academic teaching hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia SUBJECTS AND METHODS: Healthy participants 18-50 years of age, who received one dose of ChAdOx1 vaccine and had no history of SARS CoV-2 infection were recruited, and blood samples were obtained 16 weeks after vaccination to assess immunogenicity using a commercially available kit.
Background: Viral bronchiolitis remains a significant cause of hospitalization as well as morbidity and mortality during the first year of life, with treatment options beyond supportive care being limited. In cases of severe illness, ribavirin may offer therapeutic benefit.
Objective: We report the use of intravenous (IV) ribavirin in an infant requiring concomitant venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV-ECMO) and continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH) for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and parainfluenza virus (PIV) coinfection.
Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) as a term encompasses eosinophilic granuloma and two clinical syndromes: Letterer-Siwe disease and Hand-Schüller-Christian. All these syndromes seem to represent similar processes in which the proliferating cells have the structural and functional features of Langerhans cells. In reviewing the literature found that this disease does indeed occur in some families more often than would be expected.

Case Presentation: We report a case of rare pure cystic heterotopic brain tissue in a two-month-old Caucasian baby girl that presented as a large cystic neck mass and was confused with a cystic hygroma. Her mother reported a progressive increase in the size of this swelling and mild respiratory difficulty when the girl was sleeping.
Introduction: Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a congenital malformation that has a reported incidence ranging from 2.4 to 4.1 in 10,000 births.
