Head lice infestation in schoolchildren and related factors in Mafraq governorate, Jordan.

Background: Little is known about the effect of socioeconomic status on the infestation by head lice in schoolchildren in Jordan.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional school-based study was conducted from December 2009 to February 2010. A list of all primary schools in Mafraq governorate was obtained (394 primary schools).
