Introducing practical tools for fit to drive assessment of the elderly: A step toward improving the health of the elderly.

Today, as age increases, the demand for independent living has increased. Since driving is one of the safest and preferred ways for the elderly to travel, paying close attention to the accurate assessment of the elderly's driving ability can prevent traffic accidents in this age group. The purpose of this study was to identify and introduce practical tools for drive assessment fitness of the elderly.

Components of driving competency measurement in the elderly: A scoping review.

Identifying developmental trajectories of worldwide road traffic accident death rates using a latent growth mixture modeling approach.

Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) are a major worldwide public health problem. The aim of this study was to use the growth mixture model for clustering countries on the basis of the mortality rate patterns of RTAs from 2007 to 2013. We obtained the data on RTA death rates from World Health Organization reports and Human Development Index (HDI) of United Nations Development Programme reports for the years 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Predicting and analyzing the trend of traffic accidents deaths in Iran in 2014 and 2015.

Background: Predicting the trend in traffic accidents deaths and its analysis can be a useful tool for planning and policy-making, conducting interventions appropriate with death trend, and taking the necessary actions required for controlling and preventing future occurrences.

Materials And Methods: This study was based on data gathered by Iranian Police Department from the records of road crashes from April 4, 2008 through April 4, 2009.
