Knowledge about user experiences of internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) has mostly been drawn from non-clinical groups or with iCBT offered via self-referral. The present study therefore focused on patients who had undergone iCBT with minimal support while actively awaiting outpatient psychological treatment in the form of face-to-face CBT. To seek out barriers to adherence the study also included patients who had withdrawn from the iCBT treatment before completion.

The prepared materials were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence, and dynamic light scattering techniques. Binding kinetics of DOX established specific recognition binding sites in the photoluminescent nanoscale molecularly imprinted polymer (PLMIP) structure.

However, the results of indeterminate pathology place the thyroid surgeon in difficult management situations. This study evaluates McGill Thyroid Nodule Score (MTNS) to identify thyroid nodules that harbor malignancy in cases of indeterminate FNABs and to guide surgeon about the need and extent of surgery.

Currently, the most approaches to analyze statistical associations between regions and imaging modalities rely on Pearson correlation or linear regression models. However, these models are prone to spurious correlations arising from uninformative shared variance and multicollinearity.

Although subway emergency evacuation is considered by the governments and subway network organizations as a critical task related to passengers' safety at the time of emergency, the risk of mass evacuation in station is undeniable. The main objective of this study is to identify factors affecting safe evacuation of the population from subway station and to propose the strategies for addressing them based on experiences or opinions of stakeholders in Tehran Subways, Iran.

These resonances may find numerous applications in optical sensing and information processing. Here, a new degree of freedom of surface lattice resonances is experimentally investigated by demonstrating handedness-dependent excitation of surface lattice resonances in arrays of chiral plasmonic crescents.

Hypothesis: Alkyl ketene dimer (AKD) is frequently used in paper industry as an inexpensive sizing agent. The formation of a porous structure after curing the solidified AKD for an extra-long time (4-6 days) results in superhydrophobicity. In this study, a facile and low-cost method was utilized to turn the surface of AKD superhydrophobic in a very short period of time.

Traumatic mucormycosis mainly occurs in military conflicts, civilian trauma, and vehicle accidents. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and tsunamis also play a major role in causing mucormycosis by inoculation.

This meta-analysis aimed to determine HIV and drug-related stigma and the association it has with risk-taking behaviors among PWID. We searched PubMed, Science Direct, Web of Science, and Cochrane electronic databases independently in March 2019.

Some fungi can cause superficial infections in animals after accidental penetration and colonization on injured skin and can be transmitted to humans by exposure. The infection caused mainly by dermatophyte species and may also be caused rarely by yeasts and nondermatophytic molds.

Here, fluorescein as a polymerization initiator allowing dye-sensitized polymerization with green light (438-540 nm) is demonstrated to allow polymer functionalization of mesoporous films deposited onto planar silver metal layers. The fluorescein-induced polymer functionalization of mesoporous silica films is investigated with respect to the influence of irradiation power and irradiation time and its potential to generate polymer gradients.
