Objectives: Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE) is an emerging drug-resistant organism responsible for increasing nosocomial infections. Few data are available on the epidemiology of VRE colonization or infection in neonates, and is of recent interest. This study analyzes the prevalence of neonatal VRE colonization in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and describes risk factors and molecular phenotypes associated with VRE colonization.

Although the main reason for these outbreaks is unknown, however, vaccine failure was supposed to be an important cause. This study was designed to determine the seroconversion rates to measles- mumps- rubella (MMR) vaccine currently in use among Iranian children.

The Pentavalent vaccine which protects against five major infections including diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B(HepB) and () was added to the Iranian national immunization program in November 2014. This study aimed to determine the Pentavalent vaccine adverse events and immunogenicity in an Iranian children population in Sari, northern Iran.

In December 2003, a nationwide campaign of measles-rubella (MR) immunization was established to vaccinate 5-25 year- old individuals. In 2004, the mMV was replaced with measles- mumps- rubella (MMR) vaccine.

The mechanisms of HEV pathogenesis appear to be substantially immune mediated. However, the immune responses to HEV are not precisely identified.

Methods: The patients included were those who fulfilled the WHO definition for pertussis or those clinically diagnosed by physicians. The demographic features of cases, their vaccination status, the incidence rate per 100,000 population, the relative proportion of cases for each age group, and their relation to vaccination status of the patients were all determined.
Background: Asthma and allergic rhinitis are among the most common diseases in the world.
Objective: The aim of this study was to detect, by skin prick test, aeroallergens in allergic patients in Sari, Mazandaran in north of Iran.
Methods: This is a prospective study of skin prick test of aeroallergens in asthma, allergic rhinitis and their combination with clinical diagnosis.
