Objectives: To determine the association between IGF2BP2 polymorphisms and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Methods: This study involved 422 individuals, 214 diabetes mellitus cases, and 208 healthy controls. The PCR-RFLP technique was used to determine the genotype of the IGF2BP2 gene for the SNPs rs4402960 (G>T) and rs1470579 (A>C).
Background: Rice is subjected to various environmental stresses, resulting in significant production losses. Abiotic stresses, particularly drought and salinity, are the leading causes of plant damage worldwide. The High-affinity Potassium Transporter (HKT) gene family plays an important role in enhancing crop stress tolerance by regulating physiological and enzymatic functions.

The clinical characteristics and risk factors of COVID-19 exhibit considerable variability, leading to a spectrum of clinical severity. Moreover, the likelihood of exposure to the virus may differ based on comorbidity status as comorbid illnesses have mechanisms that can considerably increase mortality by reducing the body's ability to withstand injury.

Background: Noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) are public health threats globally and recognized impediments to socioeconomic development. This study aimed to identify the prevalence and clustering of NCDs risk factors among Bangladeshi men and women aged 20-59 years using nationally representative data.
Methods: This study was conducted in 82 rural, nonslum urban, and slum clusters across all eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh using multistage cluster sampling.
Purpose: This study aimed to explore the meaning of work participation for people with spinal cord injury (SCI) in Bangladesh.
Methods: Narrative inquiry methodological framework was used to explore the meaning of work participation after SCI. Face-to-face interviews with twenty adults with SCI, who were either living in the community or in-patients at a rehabilitation center.
Background And Aim: Allergenic foods can trigger skin conditions, yet their impact in Bangladesh remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the potential association between exposure to allergenic foods and the development of skin disease across Bangladesh.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey with 970 respondents from the divisions of Dhaka, Sylhet, Rangpur, and Chattogram who self-reported skin disease triggered by food allergens.
Cinchona alkaloid-derived sulfonamides and ester dimers containing chiral hyperbranched polymers have been successfully synthesized and applied as catalysts in asymmetric reactions. Several hyperbranched polymers derived from cinchona alkaloids, incorporating sulfonamides and esters, were synthesized through Mizoroki-Heck coupling polymerization. These polymers were subsequently applied in enantioselective Michael addition reactions.

This often overlooked disease has significant impacts in affected regions, causing enduring morbidity, hindering child development, reducing productivity, and creating economic burdens. Praziquantel (PZQ) is currently the only treatment option for schistosomiasis.

Objectives: This study aimed to gain insights into nurse practitioners' perceptions and attitudes toward AI adoption in health care.
Methods: This qualitative research employed a descriptive and phenomenological approach using in-depth interviews.
Background: In recent years, various coronaviruses have caused severe respiratory illnesses worldwide. For example the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infections of COVID-19 outbreak in 2019 in Wuhan, China. Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have significantly expanded our comprehension of how specific genetic variations are linked to diseases.

The dynamical system for the above-mentioned nonlinear structure is obtained by employing the Galilean transformation to fulfill the research objectives. Subsequent analysis includes planar dynamic systems techniques to investigate bifurcations, chaos, and sensitivities within the model.

Background: Savory crispy or fried snack (SCFS), sugary snack (SS), and sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption are associated with a higher prevalence of obesity and non-communicable diseases. So, we estimated the consumption of SCFS, SS, and SSB among elderly males and females in Bangladesh. We also reported the factors associated with their consumption using data from a nationwide cross-sectional study.

Our model uses the ABC fractional-order derivative mechanism to show the effect of non-pharmaceutical interventions such as personal protection or awareness, quarantine, and isolation to simulate the essential control strategies against an infectious disease spread in an infinite and uniformly distributed population. A comprehensive evolutionary game theory study quantified the significant influence of people's vaccination choices, with government forces participating in vaccination programs to improve obligatory control measures to reduce epidemic spread.

The linear stability technique is also employed to assess the stability of the mentioned model. The suggested equation's dynamical system is obtained by applying the Galilean transformation to achieve our goal.

As mathematical entity recognition in the Bangla language is novel, to our best knowledge, there is no available dataset exists in any repository. In this paper, we present state of the art Bangla mathematical entity dataset containing 13,717 observations.

However, in low- and middle-income countries like Bangladesh, antenatal and postnatal care are not widely practiced due to various socio-economic factors, such as low education levels, income, age, pregnancy knowledge, and limited healthcare facilities. The objective of this study was to examine the factors associated with antenatal care in two locations in Bangladesh based on the data collected from the Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey (BDHS) 2017-2018.

Our models examine transmission scenarios, including transmission dynamics between humans, animals, and both. We approach this using evolutionary game theory, specifically the intervention game-theoretical (IGT) framework, to study how human behavior can mitigate disease transmission without perfect vaccines and treatments.

The rapid spread of the disease is attributed to viral transmissibility, the emergence of new strains (variants), lack of immunization, and human unawareness. This study aims to provide policymakers with crucial insights for making informed decisions regarding lockdown strategies, vaccine availability, and other control measures.

Available actual and adjusted census data (1974-2022) of the Bangladesh population were applied in the well-known autonomous logistic population growth model and found that all data sets of the logistic (exact), Atangana-Baleanu-Caputo (ABC) fractional-order derivative approach, and logistic multi-scaling approximation fit with good agreement. Again, the existence and uniqueness of the solution for fractional-order and Hyers-Ulam stability have been studied.

One such strategy is implementing a voluntary vaccination policy, which grants individuals the autonomy to make their own decisions regarding vaccination. However, exploring different approaches to optimize disease control outcomes is imperative, and involves assessing their associated costs and benefits.

Through the application of these techniques, we obtain numerous previously unreported novel dynamic optical soliton solutions in mixed hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational forms of the governing model. These solutions encompass periodic waves with W-shaped profiles, gradually increasing amplitudes, rapidly increasing amplitudes, double-periodic waves, and breather waves with symmetrical or asymmetrical amplitudes.
