Background: The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in ophthalmology represents a transformative leap in healthcare. AI-powered technologies, such as machine learning and computer vision, enhance the accuracy and efficiency of ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment.
Objective: This study aimed to determine medical students' awareness and attitudes towards the use of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.
Background: Left atrial appendage closure (LAAC) is a treatment modality for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). One of the potential complications of LAAC is a peri-device leak (PDL), which could potentially increase the risk of thromboembolism formation.
Methods: This systematic review was done according to PRISMA guidelines.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an autosomal recessive disorder, with a prevalence of 1 in 2,500 live births. It is caused by mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene. With the significant advancement in CFTR-directed therapies, life expectancy of CF patients has steadily increased.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020. In efforts to reduce the risk of transmission, telehealth visits for routine care has significantly increased in the United States. Cystic fibrosis patients have been categorized as a highly vulnerable population to COVID-19 infection.

Moreover, hyperglycemia is associated with enhanced glyco-oxidized and oxidized Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) possessing greater atherogenicity and decreased the ability to regulate HMG-CoA reductase (HMG-R). Although aminoguanidine (AG) prevents the AGE-induced protein cross-linking due to its anti-glycation potential, it exerts several unusual pharmaco-toxicological effects thus restraining its desirable therapeutic effects.

AgNPs sol stabilized by Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetic-Acid (EDTA) was prepared by chemical reduction method. Morphology of the AgNPs was tuned through changing the Ag(+) ion concentration and P(H) of reaction mixture.
