Introduction: Primary central nervous system angiitis is a rare idiopathic vasculitis that is limited to the central nervous system. It has a wide range of clinical presentations that can mimic other vasculopathies.
Case Presentation: A 24-year-old female patient presents with various non-specific neurological complaints in a progressive course.
Background: With acute obstruction due to rectal or recto-sigmoid cancer, the safety and success of deploying self-expandable metal stents has been controversial. The aim of this systematic review was to synthesize the existing evidence on the outcomes and complication rates of stent placement in these patients.
Methods: We performed a literature search of PubMed by using appropriate keywords, and manual reference screening of included articles was done.
