Factors associated with sexual dysfunction in patients with colorectal cancer in Iran: a cross-sectional study.

Sexual dysfunction is a prevalent issue among individuals diagnosed with colorectal cancer (CRC), significantly impacting their quality of life. However, limited research has explored the factors associated with sexual dysfunction in CRC patients in Iran. This cross-sectional study aimed to identify the demographic factors that may contribute to sexual dysfunction in this population.

Comparison of sexual function of people with colorectal cancer with and without colostomy bag in Iran: a comparative cross-sectional study.

The aim of this study was to investigate and compare sexual function in individuals with colorectal cancer, with and without a colostomy bag. A quantitative, descriptive-comparative design was employed, and a cluster random sampling method was used to recruit 252 patients with colorectal cancer. Data collection tools included a participants characteristics form, the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) for men, and the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) for women.

Modeling The Underlying Tobacco Smoking Predictors Among 1 Year University Students In Iran.

Background: There are scant studies on the prevalence and determinants of tobacco smoking among 1 year university students in Iran. We aim to determine the prevalence of substance abuse and identify factors related with tobacco smoking in 1 year students of Qazvin University of Medical Sciences (QUMS).

Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect information on sociodemographic, cigarette smoking, hookah smoking, and related risk factors among 521 1 year students in QUMS between January and February 2014.

The prevalence, awareness and control rate of hypertension among elderly in northwest of Iran.

Adequate treatment of hypertension is infrequent in older patients. Determining the prevalence of hypertension in older patients, identifying the pattern of the treatment in this age group and evaluating their awareness of the disease may help healthcare systems to devise appropriate programs for controlling the disease. This descriptive cross sectional study included a sample from population of Tabriz, a large city in North-West of Iran, who were 60 years or older.

Pattern of Use of Earphone and Music Player Devices among Iranian Adolescents.

Background: There is no information about the pattern of use of earphones and music players in Iranian adolescents. The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence and pattern of the use of earphone and music player devices as a main risk factor for hearing loss in adolescents of Tabriz city, northwest of Iran.

Methods: In this cross-sectional study in November 2011, 2,359 high school students were randomly selected and were asked to complete a 20-item questionnaire about the pattern of using earphones and music players.
