This study synthesized Ag/TiO/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nano photocatalyst for promising light-derived photocatalytic removal of heavy metal ions. The design of experiment (DOE) was used to study the effect of important factors (pH, reaction time, and photocatalyst dosage) to maximize the final performance of the photocatalyst.

The changes and optimal values of influencing parameters, including treatment time, iron concentration, phenol initial concentration, and pH, were investigated based on the central composite design (CCD) method. The presence of 0.

Magnetic chitosan was improved by surface functionalization and cross-linking of it with EDTA and photocatalytic with TiO. The nanocomposite was characterized by FE-SEM, EDX, FTIR and XRD techniques and Cd(II) ions adsorption and phenol degradation under varied experimental conditions were investigated.

Coagulation and flocculation processes are only needed when colloidal particles are a significant part of the total suspended solid fraction. Our objective was to predict turbidity of water after the coagulation and flocculation process while other parameters such as types and concentrations of coagulants, pH, and influent turbidity of raw water were known.

We produced concrete samples made with drinking water and treated domestic wastewater containing 300, 400 kg/m(3) of cement before chlorination and then cured concrete samples made with drinking water and treated wastewater. Second, concrete samples made with 350 kg/m(3) of cement with a Superplasticizer admixture made with drinking water and treated wastewater and then cured with treated wastewater.

TiO2 immobilization on the pervious concrete surface was done by different procedures containing slurry method (SM), cement mixed method (CMM) and different concrete sealer formulations. Irradiation of TiO2 was prepared by UV-A and UV-C lamps.

In this paper, forecasting of kinetic constant and efficiency of photocatalytic process of TiO2 nano powder immobilized on light expanded clay aggregates (LECA) was investigated. Synthetic phenolic wastewater, which is toxic and not easily biodegradable, was selected as the pollutant. The efficiency of the process in various operation conditions, including initial phenol concentration, pH, TiO2 concentration, retention time, and UV lamp intensity, was then measured.
