Using Mixed-Methods Research to Study Coping Strategies among Colorectal Cancer Patients.

Objective: The objective was to identify and understand the coping strategies of colorectal cancer (CRC) patients.

Methods: A mixed-methods approach including quantitative and qualitative methods was used to collect data from Jordanian patients. In the quantitative phase, we aimed to determine the coping strategies employed in a representative sample ( = 200) of Jordanian adult patients with CRC using the Jalowiec Coping Scale.
