Deep margin elevation (DME) is a conservative treatment of a tooth with extensive subgingival caries. It is an alternative approach to more invasive restorative procedures. The DME enables successful tooth isolation to do root canal treatments and enables performing indirect restorations, improving dental function and patient comfort without complications.

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of selected smile characteristics on the attractiveness of young Saudis as assessed by Saudi laypersons and explore gender-preferred changes in smile attractiveness.
Methodology: This observational study assessed the dynamic smile attractiveness of 168 Saudi individuals (84 males and 84 females), selected through non-probability convenience sampling.
Background: The objective of the study was to retrospectively assess the clinical performance of dental prostheses, single crowns, and three-unit bridges to identify clinical biological and mechanical complications in the Ha'il province of Saudi Arabia.
Methods: The study was conducted between March 2021 to October 2021 and included 421 patients who underwent crown and tooth-supported fixed partial denture (FPD) procedures at the Dental Polyclinics Center in the Ha'il region of Saudi Arabia from 2010-2020. The planned sampling approach was applied.

Objective: The objective of the study was to determine the prevalence and severity of dental caries among school students aged 16-18 in Ha'il urban city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Methods: This cross-sectional study randomly selected 480 students from eight secondary schools in Ha'il urban city from September to October 2015. Three calibrated examiners used the decayed, missing and filled teeth index (DMFT), based on the World Health Organization criteria, to examine the students.

Aims: To determine various tooth form, arch form, and palatal form with gender identification between males and females of the Saudi population.
Materials And Methods: Irreversible hydrocolloid impressions were made of the maxillary teeth of 100 dentate male and female subjects to obtain study casts. A standardized procedure was adopted to photograph the maxillary dental arches and the maxillary central incisors on the study casts taken from each subject.
Virtual reality is a computer based technology linked with the future of dentistry and dental practice. The virtual articulator is one such application in prosthetic and restorative dentistry based on virtual reality that will significantly reduce the limitations of the mechanical articulator, and by simulation of real patient data, allow analyses with regard to static and dynamic occlusion as well as to jaw relation. It is the purpose of this article to present the concepts and strategies for a future replacement of the mechanical articulator by a virtual one.
