Endoscopic surgery is now increasingly taking the place of open surgery in urology. Traditionally, endourological procedures are classified as clean-contaminated because the genitourinary tract is colonized by micro-flora, even in the case of sterile urine. The aim of this study was to determine whether a difference occurs in the infection rate after short endourological procedures using standard scrubbing and partial scrubbing techniques before the operations.

Software-defined networking (SDN) is a revolutionary innovation in network technology with many desirable features, including flexibility and manageability. Despite those advantages, SDN is vulnerable to distributed denial of service (DDoS), which constitutes a significant threat due to its impact on the SDN network. Despite many security approaches to detect DDoS attacks, it remains an open research challenge.

Objectives: This study aimed to 1) Assess the effects of implementing the initial assessment and management practices of the Adult Trauma Clinical Practice Guidelines (ATCPGs) on the outcomes of multiple trauma patients and healthcare providers in the emergency department (ED) and hospital; 2) Evaluate the effects of implementing the ATCPGs on missed injuries in ED and hospital Length of Stay (LOS); 3) Examine the effect of implementing initial assessment and management on healthcare providers' compliance with ATCPGs.

Methods: A quasi-experimental design with three months before and three month after implementing ATCPGs was used. A total of 464 patient's files were reviewed in the study.
