Hybrid polymer films of polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP)/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) embedded with gradient levels of Bi-powder were prepared using a conventional solution casting process. XRD, FTIR, and SEM techniques have been used to examine the micro/molecular structure and morphology of the synthesized flexible films. The intensities of the diffraction peaks and transmission spectrum of the PVP/PVA gradually declined with the introduction of Bi-metal.

Methods: In 14 patients with chronic paraplegia caused by spinal cord injury, cord defects were grafted and stem cells injected into the whole construct and contained using a chitosan-laminin paste. Patients were evaluated using the International Standards for Classification of Spinal Cord Injuries.
Objectives: Bcl-2 and Bcl-XL are the most important antiapoptotic members of the Bcl-2 family frequently overexpressed in bladder cancer. Overexpression of Bcl-XL bilharzial-related bladder cancer was associated with tumor progression. However, the negative prognostic value of Bcl-2 expression is still questionable.
