β-mannosidosis is a rare autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disease of glycoprotein catabolism caused by a deficiency of β-mannosidase. Clinical presentation includes intellectual deficits, hearing loss, and recurrent respiratory infections. This report describes the dental treatment and follow-up dental care of a child with β-mannosidosis.

The aim of the study was to assess dental fear among 12-15 years old Arabic speaking children in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and its relation to demographic variables, previous dental experience, and child behaviour.
