Efficacy of Sodium Bicarbonate-Buffered Local Anesthetic Solution in Cases Requiring Bilateral Maxillary Premolar Orthodontic Extraction: A Comparative Split-Mouth Study.

Aims and objectives This study was carried out to evaluate the efficacy of 8.4% sodium bicarbonate-buffered local anesthetic solution and conventional local anesthetic in patients requiring bilateral maxillary orthodontic extractions in terms of pain on injection, onset of action, and duration of action. Methods 102 patients requiring bilateral maxillary orthodontic extractions were included in the study.
