Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) is the treatment of choice for pediatric nephrolithiasis more than 20 mm. Prone position was the preferred position for decades. Recently, supine position has gained more interest.

Ejaculatory-sparing transurethral prostatectomy: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

Introduction: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a prevalent urologic condition leading to lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Transurethral prostatectomy has been a cornerstone for surgical management of LUTS due to BPH. A growing interest has recently emerged to develop a surgical approach that can decrease the effect on sexual and ejaculatory functions while maintaining its efficacy in treating LUTS.

A Randomized Trial to Examine the Utility of Mebeverine on the Early Return of Continence Following Orthotopic Bladder Substitution.

Purpose: We assessed the effect of mebeverine in the enhancement of the orthotopic bladder substitute continence.

Materials And Methods: A randomized trial was carried out for incontinent adult male patients during the first year post-orthotopic bladder substitute surgery. Patients were allocated to receive mebeverine 135 mg or placebo 3 times a day for only 3 months.

Background: Metastasis and mortality remain high among breast cancer patients with the claudin-low subtype because these tumors are aggressive, chemoresistant, and lack targeted therapies. Our objective was to utilize discovery-based proteomics to identify proteins associated with claudin-low primary and metastatic tumors to gain insight into pathways and mechanisms of tumor progression.

Methods: We used nano-LC-MS/MS proteomics to analyze orthotopic and metastatic tumors from the syngeneic murine T11 tumor model, which displays gene expression profiles mirroring human claudin-low tumors.
