Evaluation of the effect of COVID-19 mandated shift to virtual teaching on medical students' performance at King Khalid University, Abha.

Objectives: The rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic required populations in most parts of the world to take drastic precautions. Face-to-face teachings were suspended, and the teaching and learning process was shifted to the virtual mode. This was a formidable challenge for students, teachers, parents, guardians, and academic administrators.
