Objective: To evaluate the effects of surface treatment and repair material on the repair shear bond strength (SBS) of the bioactive restorative material.
Methods: A total of 240 Activa BioActive Restorative (Activa) discs were prepared, aged, and polished, and divided randomly into eight groups ( = 30). Groups 1-4 discs were repaired with bulk-fill flowable resin-based composite (Bulk-RBC), and Groups 5-8 discs with Activa.
Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the resin-dentin interfacial morphology created by two universal adhesives using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
Materials And Methods: The occlusal surfaces of ten ( = 5) molars were reduced to expose a flat surface of dentin. Two universal adhesives, Scotchbond Universal Adhesive and Tetric N-Bond Universal, were independently applied to air-dried dentin.
Aim: To review the adhesive bonding to different computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) esthetic restorative materials.
Background: The use of CAD/CAM esthetic restorative materials has gained popularity in recent years. Several CAD/ CAM esthetic restorative materials are commercially available.
