This systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted to evaluate the prevalence of cardiac manifestations associated with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children worldwide. We conducted electronic searches in Ovid MEDLINE, Ovid EMBASE, and the World Health Organization COVID-19 Literature Database from the inception of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic to 1 January, 2022. Three authors independently screened the abstracts to determine eligibility, assessed methodology in the full texts, and extracted the data.

Ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (rAAA) with an associated Type II endoleak is rare. Emergent surgical repair is often necessary and may be associated with high morbidity and mortality. We report an alternative unique trans-luminal repair strategy in an 84-year-old male who presented with a rAAA with prior EVAR, and Type Ia and Type II endoleaks.

Type II endoleaks occur commonly following endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). Although they remain enigmatic, multiples studies have evaluated preoperative risk factors and strategies for prevention of type II endoleaks. Prophylactic treatment of type II endoleaks can include embolization of accessory arteries, as well as complete aneurysmal sac occlusion.
