Design and hydrologic performance estimation of highway filter drains using a novel analytical probabilistic model.

Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) are nature-based methods of managing urban stormwater runoff. Although they are widely used, some SuDS, such as highway filter drains (HFDs), are understudied with respect to sizing and performance. For the first time, we developed an analytical probabilistic model (APM) that can be used to design and estimate the hydrologic performance of HFDs.

Horizontal Extraocular Muscle Insertion Site in Relation to Axial Length Using Swept-Source Anterior Segment OCT.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to correlate between the axial length of the globe and the insertion site of horizontal extraocular muscles using swept-source anterior segment optical coherence tomography (SS-ASOCT), with posing an equation to calculate the muscle insertion site from the axial length.

Methods: The study design was observational and cross-sectional. It was performed on 157 eyes of 157 healthy subjects.

Assessment of superficial and deep retinal vessel density in systemic lupus erythematosus patients using optical coherence tomography angiography.

Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate the retinal microvascular density in SLE patients using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) and to correlate vascular density with the disease activity and damage risk.

Purpose: To investigate functional and structural outcomes of internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling during primary vitrectomy for uncomplicated macula-off rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD).

Methods: In this prospective interventional randomized comparative study, 43 eyes (43 patients) were randomly divided into group A (20), and group B (23), with and without ILM peeling respectively. Implantable Collamer Lens in the Management of Pseudophakic Ametropia.

Methods: A case-control study was done on 43 RA patients and 40 controls. The disease activity score (DAS28-ESR) was calculated and all participants had lower tear meniscus, corneal thickness, and epithelial thickness evaluation using AS-OCT.
