This study aims to describe socio-economic aspects, farming practices and production limitations of goats by surveying 53 farms holding 5507 head in the regions of Tataouine-Tunisia. It was revealed that goats represented a major source of income for most of the producers (66.1%).

This method is an improvement of the platelet count ratio principle which uses an impedance counter to search a decrease of the free platelet count after adding platelet agonist to whole blood. We suggest using novel platelet parameters provided by an optical hematology analyzer such as ADVIA 2120i (Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics) to search morphological and structural changes of platelet that are supposed reflecting platelet activation in normal platelets after addition of an agonist.
