The present study aimed to investigate the impact of various concentrations of ginger and cinnamon oils as antibiotic substitutes on some blood biochemical parameters, antioxidant capacity, and histopathological profile of the liver and gut of growing Japanese. A total of 900 Japanese quails were randomly allotted into 6 treatment groups. Each group had 5 replicates (30 chicks each).

The self-assembly of cisplatin (Cis-Pt) and chitosan nanoparticles (Cs NPs) has been synthesized and characterized successfully by different analyses and techniques, such as scanning electron microscopy, ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The efficiency of loading Cis-Pt on Cs NPs for decreasing the side effects of Cis-Pt by loading it on Cs NP surface was revealed through histopathological and physiological measurements for the liver, testis, and kidney cells. Self-assembly hybrid nanocomposite (Cis-Pt@Cs) could improve spermatogenic cells, seminiferous tubules, and Leydig cells in the interstitial tissue.

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) could be employed in the combat against COVID-19, yet are associated with toxicities. In this study, biogenic and biocompatible AgNPs using the agro-waste, non-edible Hibiscus sabdariffa stem were synthesized. Under optimized reaction conditions, synthesized green AgNPs were crystalline, face cubic centered, spherical with a diameter of around 17 nm and a surface charge of -20 mV.
