To investigate the effectiveness of AcceleDent Aura vibrating device on the rate of canine retraction. Thirty-two patients requiring extraction of upper first premolars and canine retraction were randomly allocated with a 1:1 ratio into either no-appliance group or the AcceleDent Aura appliance group. Canine retraction was done applying 150gm of retraction force using NiTi coil springs on 16 × 22 stainless steel archwires.

Phospholipid magnesome is a new vesicular nanosystem recently developed for brain targeting. Improving the uptake of I-CP to the brain might be effective for the diagnosis and/or radiotherapy of certain brain diseases and/or tumors.

This study aimed to compare the O-RADS with two other well-established US classification systems for diagnosis of AM.
Methods: This retrospective multicenter study between May 2016 and December 2019 assessed consecutive women with AM detected by the US.

The combined action of shikonin and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) for apoptosis in human cancer cells has not been elucidated. Hence, we investigated the synergistic combinatorial effect of shikonin and AgNPs in human lung cancer cells. Shikonin was used as a reducing and capping agent for AgNPs synthesis as a green method avoiding the hazards of chemical methods.

Method: A prospective multicentre study initially included 557 patients with clinically suspected thyroid nodules. After exclusion, a final cohort of 380 patients with 948 thyroid nodules detected by US were enrolled.
Purpose: To determine the diagnostic sensitivity and interobserver agreement of Gallium 68-prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography (Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT) imaging for diagnosis and staging of patients with newly diagnosed prostate cancer (PC).
Materials And Methods: One hundred and seventy-three men (mean age, 68 ± 7.7 years; range 46-84 years) with newly diagnosed, untreated PC were enrolled in this prospective study between January 2017 and August 2018.
Background: The evolution of nanoparticles has gained prominence as platforms for developing diagnostic and/or therapeutic radiotracers. This study aims to develop a novel technique for fabricating a tumor diagnostic probe based on iron oxide nanoparticles excluding the utilization of chelating ligands.
Methods: Tc-99 m radionuclide was loaded into magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles platform (MIONPs) by sonication.
Background/aim: Ulcerative colitis (UC) patients are at increased risk for colorectal carcinoma (CRC). It is suggested that cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) plays a role in sporadic CRC. The gene is a tumor-suppressor gene and the most frequent site of genetic alteration found in human cancer.
