The effects of methionine administration during the beginning postnatal days on the ovarian structures in adult rats.

Objectives: Methionine is known as an essential amino acid in mammals. Consuming excessive amounts of methionine has toxic effects. This study aimed at evaluating the histomorphometric and histopathologic changes of ovaries after methionine administration during follicle formation.
