Introduction: Family planning (FP) is important in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality as well as foetal and neonatal complications. This study aimed to determine the intention to practise FP among antenatal women at risk of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in the Klang Health District and its associated factors.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at four government health clinics in the Klang Health District.
Introduction: Mental health disorders (MHDs) are a global health burden with an increasing prevalence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, depression was the commonest MHD, followed by anxiety and stress. This nationwide study aimed to determine the prevalence and associated factors of depression, anxiety and stress among Malaysian students attending higher educational institutions.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFEctopic pregnancy is an extra-uterine pregnancy and is a potentially life-threatening condition that can lead to death from intra-peritoneal hemorrhage. This case reports a rare occurrence of ruptured tubal pregnancy in which the patient presented early with abdominal pain and a negative urine pregnancy test but subsequently presented again with evidence of intra-peritoneal hemorrhage. A negative urine pregnancy test is often used to rule out pregnancy, but it is not 100% sensitive.
