Article Synopsis
  • The study explores the effectiveness of different teaching methods (lecturing, buzz groups, role-play) in enhancing school counselors' knowledge and attitudes toward sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education.
  • About 75% of counselors recognize SRH training as crucial, citing healthcare providers as the ideal educators, while also expressing concerns about parental reactions and their own skills as barriers to effective education.
  • All three methods led to improvements in counselors' knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy, with role-play showing potentially greater effectiveness compared to traditional lecturing.
