While several systematic review articles exist, a comprehensive bibliometric analysis illustrating the knowledge structure and research trends, along with collaboration networks among authors, institutions, and countries in this field, has not been conducted. The study focused on 826 articles published over a 32-year period (1992 to 2023) and revealed a significant increase in publications, particularly in recent years.

Although cryptic epitope R39-R43 belonging to beta-2-glycoprotein 1 (β2GP1) has been identified as the main antigenic determinant for aPLs, we have recently demonstrated that the epitope is a motif determined by the polarity, rather than by the sequence or charge of amino acids.
Objective: In the present study, we wanted to identify the association of residues needed to obtain the highest aPL affinity.

Methods: A total of 26 patients with HIT who received IVCFs were retrospectively reviewed, and the outcomes of this group were compared with those of 4,707 controls with either HIT or IVCFs alone and with reported outcomes in prior studies.
Results: The patient group demonstrated 6- and 12-month mortality rates of 26.

The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of FDG-PET/CT imaging to detect pulmonary artery atherosclerosis and to assess the correlation between pulmonary function testing (PFT) results and the overall pulmonary artery metabolic activity. While most applications of PET have attempted to assess neuronal function after TBI, more recently, novel radiotracers have sought to image biomarkers in the context of TBI and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
Methods: This review will begin with an overview of TBI and CTE along with the acute and chronic pathophysiological consequences of TBI.
Cardiovascular molecular imaging has focused on assessing myocardial perfusion and ventricular ejection fraction. These modalities target late downstream effects of the atherosclerotic disease process; this calls for a change of focus toward methods that can detect early arterial wall changes before macrocalcifications become visible on computed tomography angiography and provide a better understanding of the disease process. We summarize current knowledge on PET in atherosclerosis and highlight pertinent questions relating to the early detection of atherosclerosis.

Segmentation of liver tumors from Computed Tomography (CT) and tumor burden analysis play an important role in the choice of therapeutic strategies for liver diseases and treatment monitoring. In this paper, a new segmentation method for liver tumors from contrast-enhanced CT imaging is proposed. As manual segmentation of tumors for liver treatment planning is both labor intensive and time-consuming, a highly accurate automatic tumor segmentation is desired.
