This change is primarily attributed to the increasing popularity of structural colors due to their eco-friendly characteristics. In thus study, SiO particles underwent modification with PDA and TiCT (MXene) to establish a core-shell structure, resulting in MSiO/PDA@MXene photonic crystals characterized by electrostatic assembly and hydrogen bonding.

An efficient method for detection of foot and mouth disease (FMD) and, particularly, differentiation of vaccinated from infected animals is the use of nonstructural (NS) proteins as antigens in Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) Kits. In this study, only epitopic regions of 3AB and 3D NS proteins were used for recombinant protein production, as a cost-effective method instead of peptide synthesis, for application in in-house ELISA diagnostic kits. Colorimetric sensing of imidacloprid in cucumber fruits using a graphene quantum dot/Au (III) chemosensor.

The current research presents a very simple method for the colorimetric detection of imidacloprid using a graphene quantum dot/Au (III) chemosensor. The results demonstrated that there is an interaction between Au ions and the imidazole group of the pesticide toward reduction of Au to Au in the presence of graphene quantum dots. This phenomenon changes the color of gold nanoparticles from yellow to grey or red, and causes a shift in the peak of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) as gold nanoparticles are formed or aggregated based on the concentration of imidacloprid.

This report describes the case of a patient diagnosed with endometriosis-induced bowel perforation. Albeit rare, bowel perforations caused by endometriosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of women of reproductive age with abdominal pain.

This study aimed to evaluate the potential of applying pectin and chitosan polysaccharides in pellet formulation. These biopolymers have advantages such as biocompatibility, low toxicity, low price and easy processing which make them interesting candidates for drug delivery purposes. In vitro antioxidant and antibacterial activity of various extracts from exocarps and endocarps of walnut.

Juglans regia seed has been used in traditional medicines as antimicrobial, antihelmintic and anti-diarrhoeal. In the present study, the antibacterial capabilities dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, methanol and aqueous extracts of endocarp and exocarp of walnut were determined against two Gram-positive bacteria and one Gram-negative bacteria. The antioxidant activity was screened by 2, 2'-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assays.

Effects of irrigation intervals and organic manure on morphological traits, essential oil content and yield of oregano ( Origanum vulgare L.).

In order to evaluate the effect of irrigation intervals and cattle manure levels on morphological traits, essential oil content and yield of oregano, an experiment was conducted at the experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Urmia University, Iran. The experimental design was split-plots, arranged in randomized complete blocks with three replications. Main plots including irrigation intervals (1, 2 and 3 weeks) and four levels of cattle manure at 0, 10, 20 and 30 t ha-1 were allocated to sub plots.
