Given the importance of the local epidemiological data and also extensive prophylactic regimens in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients, this study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics and resistance patterns of yeast isolates in SOT recipients at a main referral transplant center in Iran. Of the 275 recipients enrolled, 22 (8%) had at least one positive yeast culture at a median of 5 days after transplantation.

We retrospectively analyzed a subset of data from the published Fasa cohort study using individual standard classifiers as well as ensemble learning algorithms.
Methods: We measured segmental body composition using the Tanita Analyzer BC-418 MA (Tanita Corp, Japan).
Background And Aims: Faculty members confront a variety of obstacles over time, the most recent of which is the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, which may increase their vulnerability to burnout (BO). This study aims to examine BO in medical school faculties, as well as the factors that lead to BO and well-being in them.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in 2021 using online questionnaires completed by 222 faculty members of a medical university in Iran.
BackgroundImmunocompromised patients have lower seroconversion rate in response to COVID-19 vaccination. The aim of this study is to evaluate the humoral immune response with short-term clinical outcomes in solid organ transplant recipients vaccinated with SARS-CoV-2 vaccine (BBIBP-CorV; Sinopharm).MethodsThis prospective cohort was conducted from March to December 2021 in Abu Ali Sina hospital, Iran.

This article investigates the associations between the diagnoses of primary hypertension and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and the severity of GAD in individuals with primary hypertension. The association of GAD and age, sex, marriage, education level, income, chronic medical conditions, family history of mental disorders, adverse life events, and hypertension was assessed in 470 patients with the diagnosis of primary hypertension.

Methods: This retrospective cohort comprised 87 patients with mucormycosis divided into two groups.
Purpose Of Review: Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) can increase the susceptibility of individuals to contracting mucormycosis through several mechanisms. Nowadays, coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-associated mucormycosis (CAM) is a serious public health concern, particularly in developing countries. This meta-analysis aims to identify the risk factors that affect the mortality rate of patients with CAM.

Data derived from administrative repositories during mass vaccination campaigns or programs are of interest to study vaccine effectiveness.
Methods: Using 4-repository administrative data linkage, we conducted a historical cohort study on a target population of 1 882 148 inhabitants aged at least 18 years residing in southern Iran.
