Background Childhood obesity is a worldwide public health epidemic. Sedentary lifestyles and unhealthy dietary patterns increased the rates of overweight and obesity among children. This study aimed to (1) estimate healthy behaviors (including dietary patterns and physical activity) and (2) determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity among Saudi school-aged children in the Qassim region, Saudi Arabia.
