Objective: Aim: To assess the effectiveness of local anesthesia in the treatment of acute forms of caries, pulpitis, and periodontitis in adolescents with a high level of baseline anxiety.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: 1.7 ml of local amide anesthetic from the articaine series was used.
Objective: The aim: Evaluate the expediency of using different methods of treatment for patients with acute purulent-odontogenic inflammatory processes in both the main and control groups. This assessment will be based on various indicators of non-specific immunity.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: This study involved the evaluation of the humoral component of nonspecific immunity in 114 patients.

Bone plasty of congenital and residual defects of the alveolar process of the upper jaw is a technically difficult surgical intervention which is necessary for full rehabilitation of a patient with congenital lip and palate clefts. This operation creates conditions for stabilization of maxilla fragments and normalization of the upper jaw development and also for successful teeth eruption. The aim of the study - to assess the state of oral hygiene before surgery in children with congenital residual defect of the alveolar process we used Fedorov-Volodkina Hygiene Index and index of the intensity of gingivitis (РМА) according to Masser-Parma.

In presented study a purulent exudate from 13 patients with acute purulent odontogenic intraoral lesions was studied by bacteriological method with detection of sensitivity to antibacterial agents. Bacteriological studies showed that genus Streptococcus predominated in 69.

Aim of the study - experimental evaluation of the strength of adhesion to the hard tissues of non-vital teeth for adhesive systems in combination with modern dental photocomposite filling (restorative) materials. 80 tests of the adhesion strength of the dental photocomposite filling (restorative) material to the tooth hard tissues (shear strength) were carried out for 8 pairs of "photocomposite-adhesive system" using an automated tensometric system.

Aim of study - to determine the spectrum of antimicrobial activity of widespread antiseptics and antibacterial agents used for topical treatment of odontogenic phlegmons of the maxillofacial region. A bacteriological study of purulent wound exudate was carried out for 109 patients of the maxillofacial hospital department with a diagnosis of odontogenic phlegmons.

The most of patients coming to dentist with to make dentures on dental implants after tooth loss in lateral part of maxilla are often observed with atrophy of the alveolar bone resulting in maxillary sinus (sinus Haymori) enlargement. Creating an additional space for dental implant placement in the maxilla is possible by performing a sinus lift (subantral maxilla augmentation) - artificially thickening the lower and outer wall of the maxillary sinus with usage of osteoplastic materials.

The output mirror spectral selectivity needed for single-wavelength oscillation at 2.697 mum for a considerable excess of pumping energy over the threshold has been determined experimentally.

The content of bacteria and their biomass decreased when plants were grown in monoculture. The content of actinomycetes, bacilli and oligonitrophilic microorganisms increased in soil during crop rotation as compared with monocultures, suggesting a higher rate of mobilization processes.
