The electrocardiogram (ECG) is a common source of electrical artifact in electroencephalogram (EEG). Here, we present a novel method for removing ECG artifact that requires neither simultaneous ECG nor transformation of the EEG signals. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanism of the IFN-β-inducing ability of LO28 by comparing it with that of strain EGD, a low-IFN-β-inducing strain.
