An enzymatic fluorometric assay for pyridoxal with high specificity and sensitivity.

An enzymatic fluorometric assay for pyridoxal with pyridoxal dehydrogenase was developed. The detection limit was about 10 pmol: the calibration curve of pyridoxal showed high linearity (r=0.993).
