  • Foreign body aspiration (FB) can be dangerous for people of all ages, leading to symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, or even asphyxiation.
  • A case is presented involving a 54-year-old man who suffered respiratory arrest after aspirating a foreign body, which standard treatments couldn't address.
  • The removal of the FB was successfully achieved through cryotherapy, suggesting that this method is effective for expelling soft foreign bodies.
