Unlabelled: Optimal treatment for adhesive small bowel obstruction (SBO) is not defined. Surgery is the only method of treatment for obvious strangulating SBO. Non-operative management (NOM) is widely used among patients with low risk of strangulation, i.

While respiratory disorders and oculomotor findings are commonly reported in affected individuals, a subset of patients only present with muscle weakness and/or ptosis but not apneic crises. In this case series, we describe five individuals with exercise intolerance caused by single nucleotide variants in the gene.

The water-based combination of two inorganic chemical compounds such as sodium tungstate dihydrate-NaWO × 2HO and Aluminum sulfate octadecahydrate-Al (SO) 3 × 18HO that we have conditionally named 'Vomifal' has a broad antiviral activity in various DNA and RNA viruses, including Human Herpes Virus (HHV), African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV), Vaccinia Virus (VV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Foot and Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV), Influenza A virus (A/Aichi/2/68 (H3N2)). In vitro and In vivo assays in several tissue cultures as well as in laboratory animals, conformed 'Vomifal' has a very low toxicity and the antiviral properties partially are due to its ability to induce gamma-IFN. Based on the results obtained, we can assume the presence of at least two mechanisms of the antiviral action of the studied drug.

This study aimed to assess the change in laboratory diagnostic profile of Mycobacterium tuberculosis after introduction of the Xpert assay from 2013 to 2017.
Methodology: Retrospective cohort analysis of all presumptive TB patients' records retrieved from the National Reference Laboratory database was performed.
Introduction: A one of the step towards achieving TB related targets is to ensure early and quality diagnosis of TB in national laboratories. WHO recommends that all national reference laboratories in TB burden countries strive to reach accreditation by 2025, based on ISO15189:2012 quality management system standard. To identify gaps, progress and evaluated the evolution in implementation QMS we performed a formal assessment of the national TB reference laboratory of Armenia, as well as estimates the specific quality indicators of NRL activity.

Material And Methods: Prospective randomized study included 102 patients (45 of main group (FT) and 57 of control groups). Patients did not differ by TG13 severity index.
Aim: To analyze outcomes of fast track rehabilitation in patients with acute appendicitis.
Material And Methods: Prospective, randomized multi-center trial including 86 patients was conducted. There were 38 patients in the main group and 48 in the control group.
Aim: To define optimal terms of surgery for acute adhesive non-strangulatory small bowel obstruction.
Material And Methods: The analysis included 703 publications from e-LIBRARI.RU (342 works) and NCBI (361 works) databases for acute adhesive intestinal obstruction.

Aims And Objectives: Despite the successes in managing drug-susceptible TB, drug-resistant (DR) tuberculosis is a major challenge to the effectiveness of National Tuberculosis Program in Armenia, placing the country in the list of 18 high-burden countries for MDR-TB in the WHO European Region. Estimated burden of MDR-TB in 2012 was 9.4 (7-12) and 43 (38-49) among retreatment TB cases.

According to data from Global Drug Resistance Surveillance Report (2007), Armenia is counted as a high-burden country for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). The estimated burden of MDR-TB in 2012 was 9.

The data showed that different concentrations of carbon source (molasses) and pH of the nutrient medium were required to reach the maximum fumarase and L-aspartase activities.
