[Acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis - Sweet syndrome].

Sweet syndrome also termed acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis is characterized by the abrupt onset of fever, leukocytosis and demarcated papules and nodules, which show dense neutrophilic infiltrates in histopathology. This syndrome is often associated with malignant and immunological conditions. Treatment with systemic glucocorticoids is successful.
