Primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS) is a systemic autoimmune disease that is manifested by the sensation of dry eyes and dry mouth. The higher incidence of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) among pSS has already been extensively researched. View Article and Find Full Text PDFAdult-onset Still's disease (AOSD) is defined as a systemic inflammatory disorder of unknown aetiology and is classified as a multigene autoinflammatory disease. Treatment of AOSD still remains mostly empirical with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, glucocorticoids and conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs or cyclosporin A. Inhibitors of tumour necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-1 (IL-1) antagonists have shown efficacy in certain subsets of patients with AOSD.
