The COVID-19 pandemic presents challenges to psychological well-being, but how can we predict when people suffer or cope during sustained stress? Here, we test the prediction that specific types of momentary emotional experiences are differently linked to psychological well-being during the pandemic. Study 1 used survey data collected from 24,221 participants in 51 countries during the COVID-19 outbreak. We show that, across countries, well-being is linked to individuals' recent emotional experiences, including calm, hope, anxiety, loneliness, and sadness.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence of carious lesions, the amount of salivary flow rate and pH value in patients with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), using inhalation therapy. The obtained results were compared with the results of adult healthy subjects, forming a control group.

Introduction: Peripheral localization and lack of symptoms are reasons why it is difficult to establish the diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary lesions commonly of malignant nature. Therefore thoracotomy often represents a diagnostic and therapeutic method at the same time. There is a need to define an adequate and optimal diagnostic approach to these lesions in order to establish their etiology, if possible, at low costs.
