Objectives: The Clarke questionnaire, validated in Spanish language, assesses hypoglycemia awareness in patients with type 1 diabetes. This study aimed to analyze its psychometric properties in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).
Methods: This was a questionnaire validation study.
This study aims to evaluate the need to modify the total and weight-adjusted doses of levothyroxine after bariatric surgery, identify predictors, and assess the influence of the weight loss on the levothyroxine requirements. A retrospective study in patients with treated hypothyroidism that underwent bariatric surgery. The modification of the levothyroxine dose and its association with the weight loss and other potential predictors were evaluated at 6, 12, and 24 months post-surgery.

Fifteen days before pain onset, he had low-grade fever, chills, and asthenia, and 4 days before admission, he had constipation, malaise, generalized weakness, anorexia, nausea, and vomiting. On admission, the patient was afebrile and hypotensive, with a heart rate of 105 and an oxyhemoglobin saturation on room air of 95%.
