Article Synopsis
  • - Keratinocyte cancer (KC) is the most common type of cancer, and this study assesses the methodological quality of clinical trials aimed at preventing KC in high-risk groups that are not on immunosuppressive therapy.
  • - Researchers analyzed 23 trials and found significant issues, with 86.9% having a high risk of attrition bias and 60.9% reporting bias, while many trials also lacked essential reporting details according to CONSORT criteria.
  • - The study suggests that the quality of recent clinical trials has improved compared to earlier ones but emphasizes the need for better transparency in reporting potential risks of bias to enhance future trials.
