Purpose: This study evaluates the effect of pregabalin on fasciculation and myalgia after using succinylcholine.

Design: This randomized double-blind prospective study was conducted among 100 patients aged 20 to 60 years old.

Methods: Pregabalin (300 mg) and placebo (in capsule form) were placed in similar containers.

Outcome of continuous intrathecal opioid therapy for management of chronic pain in Iranian veterans of the imposed Iraq- Iran war.

Among patients with chronic unrelieved pain, war veterans of eight years long Iraq - Iran war deserve especial attention. They not only suffer from severe intractable pain but also should bear some intangible consequences of unrelieved pain and severe disability. This perspective study reviews the outcome of implantation of intrathecal opioid pumps in these patients.

The effect of nitroglycerin as an adjuvant to lidocaine in intravenous regional anesthesia.

Purpose: The disadvantages of intravenous regional anesthesia (IVRA) include slow onset, poor muscle relaxation, tourniquet pain, and rapid onset of pain after tourniquet deflation.
