Three-dimensional printing technologies allow for the fabrication of complex parts with accurate geometry and less production time. When applied to biomedical applications, two different approaches, known as direct or indirect bioprinting, may be performed. The classical way is to print a support structure, the scaffold, and then culture the cells.

Pulmonary epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma (P-EMC) is an extremely rare, well-differentiated, and malignant neoplasm originating from submucosal bronchial glands in the lung. EMCs arise mainly in the salivary glands. This case represents an asymptomatic 78-year-old male with a remote 75-pack-year history of smoking who presents with a solitary endobronchial lesion, which is suggestive of a primary lung EMC, detected on annual screening chest computed tomography (CT) scan.

The concomitance of IgG4 sclerosing sialadenitis and dacryoadenitis with rhinosinusitis is extremely rare. We report a case of IgG4 sclerosing sialadenitis and dacryoadenitis (Mikulicz's disease) diagnosed in a middle-aged African American man with a long-standing history of chronic rhinosinusitis who presented with progressively worsening bilateral salivary and lacrimal glands swelling.

HER2 overexpression activates multiple signaling pathways, including the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascade. MAPK phosphatases (MKPs) are essential regulators of MAPKs and participate in many facets of cellular regulation, including proliferation and apoptosis.

We previously showed that the enzyme fatty acid synthase (FASN) was largely expressed in a small TNBC patients' cohort and its inhibition synergized with cetuximab in TNBC preclinical mouse models. Here, we evaluated FASN and EGFR expression in a cohort of TNBC patients and we study their prognostic role and their association with clinico-histopathological features, intrinsic TNBC subtypes and survival.

CD8(+) T-cells are key players in the immune response against pathogens and tumors. In aged mice, the dwindling naïve CD8(+) T-cell compartment is thought to compromise the induction of de novo immune responses, but no experimental evidence is yet available in humans.

We studied whether attentional control (AC), a temperamental construct related to emotional regulation, was associated with asymmetrical patterns of resting EEG activity at the frontal and parietal regions, reflected not only in the α frequency band (8-13 Hz) but also in higher bands β1 (13-20 Hz) and β2 (20-30 Hz). Self-reports of AC and trait anxiety, and resting EEG recordings, were obtained from 58 healthy participants.

Two patients with steroid-dependent idiopathic orbital inflammation, one with myositis and the other with dacryoadenitis, and intolerant of standard steroid sparing agents (methotrexate or azathioprine), were treated with infliximab, a monoclonal antitumor necrosis factor alpha antibody. In both patients, orbital manifestations disappeared following treatment.
