Article Synopsis
- Low carbon and high performance are essential trends influencing the development of construction materials, particularly high-ductility geopolymer concrete (HDGC).
- The study examined the impact of different curing temperatures (room temp, 45 °C, 60 °C) and durations (1 to 7 days) on the mechanical properties such as tensile and compressive strength of HDGC.
- Results indicated that curing at 45 °C for 5 days is optimal for enhancing ductility, while higher temperatures could negatively affect the material's strength development and pore structure due to crystal formation.
