In this work, we designed and developed a facile solar thermoelectric generator (STEG)-based system and a new electrokinetic remediation (EKR) system, which consists of main electrodes and unenergized auxiliary electrodes. The prepared nanocomposite was investigated for the effectiveness of the STEG+PANI-CNT/GF system in remediating Cr-contaminated. Therein, carboxyl-functionalized zinc oxide microsphere (ZnO-COOH) with peanut shape was carried by cotton fabric (CF) to get CF/ZnO-COOH nanosystem. Here, we investigated the underlying mechanisms of wetting-drying cycles (WDCs) on the Cu bioavailability in paddy soil treated with CuO nanoparticles (100 and 500 mg/kg) during 140 days by comparing with drought and flooding conditions. The results show that soil moisture content greatly affected the soil pH and redox potential.

In this study, an efficient electro-flocculation process for Dunaliella salina with energy production by aluminum-air battery has been successfully applied. The formed aluminum hydroxide hydrates during discharging of battery were positively charged, which have a great potential for microalgae flocculation. The precipitation of aluminum hydroxide hydrates by algae also could improve the performance of aluminum-air battery.
