Background: A multi-centre RCT has shown that multidisciplinary rehabilitation treatment (MRT) is more effective in reducing fatigue over the long-term in comparison with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), but evidence on its cost-effectiveness is lacking.

Aim: To compare the cost-effectiveness of MRT versus CBT for patients with CFS from a societal perspective.

Methods: A multi-centre randomized controlled trial comparing MRT with CBT was conducted among 122 patients with CFS diagnosed using the 1994 criteria of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and aged between 18 and 60 years.

Purpose: As there is no evidence for a specific treatment for post-stroke-induced hand oedema, rehabilitation centre Blixembosch formalized a best practice protocol. We investigated whether the Blixembosch hand oedema protocol is usable in daily practice and leads to lower incidence (prevention) and shorter duration (treatment) compared with care as usual.

Methods: In a non-randomised comparative trial, we investigated 206 post-stroke patients admitted to two Dutch rehabilitation centres.

Objective: To examine the influence of task experience on the difference between test and retest and to assess test-retest reliability and limits of agreement of six performance tasks in chronic low back pain patients. These measures will be used to define the clinical usability.

Design: Test-retest of six performance tasks in a group of patients with no experience and a group of patients after previous experience with these tasks.
