Background: This study aimed to compare the lipemia removal efficiency of highspeed centrifugation, lipid scavengers, and dilution for biochemical analytes.
Methods: We collected 30 cases of lipemic plasma in an emergency laboratory and divided them into 4 aliquots. Lipemia was removed by highspeed centrifugation, lipid scavenger, dilution, and ultracentrifugation, then analytes were measured by an AU5800 analyzer.
Background: The global epidemiological situation of COVID-19 remains serious. The rapid hunting of SARS-CoV-2 infection is the key means for preventing transmission.
Methods: A total of 40,689 consecutive overseas arrivals were screened for SARS-CoV-2 infection based on PCR and serologic testing.
Background: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the causative agent of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Serologic testing is complementary to nucleic acid screening to identify SARS-CoV-2. This study aimed to evaluate unspecific reactivity in SARS-CoV-2 serologic tests.

Dietary habit, genetic background, infections were the risk factors of gastric cancer. MicroRNA miR-425 is highly expressed in gastric cancer, but little attention has been devoted to the mechanism of miR-425 in tumorigenesis.

This study aimed to assess the diagnostic performance of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF). Galactomannan (GM), serum GM, and 1,3-β-d-glucan (BDG) in non-neutropenic respiratory disease patients with IPA.

Chronic hepatitis B or C infection and alcohol abuse have been identified to be the major risk factors for liver cancer development. Some evidence implicates DHX32 as being critically involved in tumor progression.

We investigated 2,446 healthy persons and 212 patients with 235 thyroid nodules. They were classified into healthy, nodular goiter, chronic thyroiditis, thyroid follicular neoplasm, papillary thyroid carcinoma, follicular thyroid carcinoma, and medullary thyroid carcinoma.

Methods: A QRT-PCR assay was used to examine the expression of E2F3, miR-125a and DKK3 in metastatic and nonmetastatic GC tissues.
