Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease. The fruits of , which is a medicinal and edible resource, have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
Methods: In this study, we investigated the effects of extracts (IVEs) on human RA fibroblasts-like synoviocytes (RA-FLS) by using a sensitive and selective ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography with high-definition mass spectrometry (UPLC-HDMS) method.
Introduction: Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is widely used off-label in patients with immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN), although the literature does not consistently agree on its efficacy and safety.
Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Embase, CENTRAL, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, and SinoMed from their inception to August 2023. We included randomized controlled trials that enrolled patients of IgAN who received MMF treatment and compared effects with placebo or as an add-on therapy to usual care.
Background: Previous studies have shown contradictory results between early application of antiplatelet therapy and intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) for mild acute ischaemic stroke (AIS), with National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score 0-5.
Objective: To compare the benefits and risks of antiplatelet therapy and IVT in patients with mild AIS.
Methods: A systematic search of MEDLINE, Embase and Cochrane Library was conducted from database inception until July 2023, without language restriction.
AIDS is a serious disease with impaired immune function caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. The treatment of AIDS has always been the focus of global scientific research, and Tat protein is a key regulatory protein in the process of HIV infection. Its high expression is closely related to virus replication, disease progression, etc.

This study sought to determine the key genes associated with vein graft restenosis that could serve as novel therapeutic targets. A total of 3075 upregulated and 1404 downregulated genes were identified after transcriptome sequencing of three pairs of restenosed vein grafts and intraoperative spare great saphenous veins.

In the past few decades, accumulated evidence has indicated that Xuesaitong (XST) has therapeutic benefits in cases of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). Our study aimed to provide the best current body of evidence of the efficacy and safety of XST for patients with AIS.

Antiplatelet therapy (APT) has been considered a promising treatment option, but its effectiveness remains controversial. Therefore, we aimed to comprehensively evaluate the benefits and risks of APT for MMD.

Background: Our goal was to create a prediction model for in-hospital death in Chinese patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD).
Methods: A retrospective derivation cohort was made up of 340 patients with ATAAD from Tianjin, and the retrospective validation cohort was made up of 153 patients with ATAAD from Nanjing. For variable selection, we used least absolute shrinkage and selection operator analysis, and for risk scoring, we used logistic regression coefficients.
Deciphering the biological basis of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes in complex diseases is challenging. Rapid advances in multi-omics approaches provide new opportunities to unveil the biological basis of TCM syndromes. We intend to summarize the latest significant progress and highlight the crucial value of applying multi-omics approaches to reveal TCM syndromes of stroke in a new horizon.

Recent trials of platelet-activating factor receptor antagonists (PAFRA) appeared to indicate that they could play a neuroprotective role in the treatment of AIS; therefore, we conducted a systematic literature review to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of PAFRA in patients with AIS. A systematic literature search was performed in seven electronic databases from inception to 11 March 2022.

To assess clinical outcomes associated with edaravone initiated within 7 days of symptoms onset in intracerebral hemorrhage. We systematically searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CiNii, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese VIP information, Wanfang Data, and SinoMed for relevant randomized controlled trials from their inception to 1 May 2021 and conducted a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis (PROSPERO registration number: CRD42019147801).
